• Time and Material (T&M) Subcontracting: Trade services billed on an hourly basis, with all workers employed and managed directly by McElroy. Ideal for projects where scope is variable or still being defined. Full payroll and compliance responsibility stays with us, not your project.
• Lump Sum and Cost Plus: We take full responsibility for the trade scope of work under the contract structure that fits your project. Lump sum arrangements give you a fixed, committed price for a defined scope. Cost plus arrangements allow for greater flexibility on projects where scope is still developing, with pricing built on actual costs plus an agreed fee. Both structures transfer performance risk and administrative burden to McElroy while giving you clear, predictable cost visibility.
• Permanent Placement and Field Evaluation: When you are looking to bring a tradesperson on permanently, we can source and screen candidates through our existing network. Our field evaluation option allows you to assess performance on the job site before making a permanent commitment.
• Leadership and Specialty Trades: We identify and place experienced candidates for roles requiring specific certifications or advanced experience, including foremen, lead carpenters, and superintendents.

McElroy operates as a committed trade subcontracting partner, not a vendor you call when you need bodies. We coordinate directly with your project team to keep field operations aligned with project demands from start to finish.

• Project Planning and Crew Coordination: We work with your project managers ahead of mobilization to understand scope, sequencing, and crew requirements. As project needs shift, we adjust our field resources to stay aligned without disrupting your schedule.
• Field Operations Management: Every McElroy engagement is supported by dedicated field operations management, with a single point of contact responsible for on-site coordination, communication, and issue resolution. Your team always has a real person accountable for what happens in the field.
• Stable, Consistent Crews: Our crews are fairly compensated, consistently treated with respect, and invested in the work they do. Lower turnover means the people who start your project are the people who finish it.
